What sets Quail Street apart?

I always hear the gentle caution to CPG brands that landing a retail account is only the first hurdle. You still have to move product. Well, that hasn't been our problem at Quail Street.

Last week, one of our customers checked two different stores (separate grocery brands that are almost 20 minutes apart by car) and both were sold out of our pizza dough.

As soon as I heard this I reached out to my buyers, who placed orders right away. This isn't an anomaly:

📈 Our overall order volumes are consistently going up.

‼️ On multiple occasions, I've gotten a frantic text or email from an account asking for a rush order, even though they just restocked.

💨 It's like they put our dough out on the floor, turn around, and it's gone.

No one finds this harder to believe than me. I'm a reluctant entrepreneur. But the numbers don't lie.

Our biggest challenge is that customers want our product and I don't have enough ways to get it to them.

One reason I started this newsletter is to capture the unique story of this brand and what makes it so special. I know we've got a category-maker on our hands (literally—pizza dough is sticky stuff). But more often than not, I hit a wall when I have to pitch our product through an online form or generic pitch process.
